Sophie Langlois was Radio-Canada's Africa correspondent for six years.
First based in Senegal, from 2007 to 2009, she continued to cover the continent from Montreal until 2013. She covered several wars and conflicts in Africa, the Arab Spring revolts and numerous humanitarian crises.
Previously, she was a correspondent in Washington DC, at the National Assembly of Quebec, an investigative journalist, an economic reporter and a journalist on the show ENJEUX.
She won the Judith-Jasmin prize, which rewards journalistic excellence in Quebec, for having revealed the nominee scandal at Cinar, the producer of children's shows.
